Email Fraud Warning

Ontario Provincial Police are warning the public of a fraudulent email that identifies itself as coming from the Department of Finance Canada.

The OPP says the message promises its recipients a tax refund if they fill out and submit what looks like a government form.

Police warn if you fill out the form, it will compromise the individual's credit card and social security information.
